Dance Mix Level II (age 7- 9)

The class implements Dance Mix techniques to advance students’ abilities in coordination, rhythm, and imitation. It trains students’ flexibility and muscle control. Children learn basic Chinese dance elements and stage performance. The class also teaches students to understand the styles of different Chinese folk dances and classical dances. Students will learn Chinese children dances and have opportunities to perform the dances in various local events. 

课堂中运用 Dance Mix多种舞蹈，芭蕾舞，现代舞，中国舞, 爵士舞等的训练元素，培养学生的协调能力，节奏感，模仿力,训练学生的软开度和肌肉控制能力，从而提高学生在舞蹈表演中的表现力。通过课堂的学习，也让学生逐步了解各个舞种的特点和区别性。学生将学习中国儿童舞蹈节目。孩子们学的舞蹈将有机会展示在当地庆祝活动中上，作为独立节目，或者编排在其它儿童或成人节目中演出。舞台表演机会有WACA春节晚会，亚洲文化传统节和年度汇报演出。
